You could be on your way to learning guitar in as little as 30 minutes!

How much do online guitar lessons with James cost?

James McVay normally charges up to $150 for private, in-person lessons. But thanks to the simplicity and ease of teaching via Skype or iChat, James is offering Online Guitar Lessons for as little as $25 for a 15 minute “breakthrough” lesson. Break through that barrier that’s got you stuck. Or book a half hour for $45 or $80 for a whole hour. If you buy a pack of 5 lessons in advance, James will offer you a 10% discount. (Half hour 5 pack: $202.50 – Savings of $22.50! or One hour 5 pack: $360 – Savings of $40!)

How do I know it will work?

Technically speaking, for your first class, you will be scheduled an extra 10 minutes before class starts in order to make sure the audio and video connection works properly.

As a teacher James began giving guitar lessons in High School and built up a student base of some 30 students per week at a local music store. James has recently returned to teaching and writing books on guitar. His 3rd and most current book is a revolutionary new approach to music called “The Right Brain Guitar Method”. James loves teaching guitar and will ensure that you not only learn how to play guitar, but that you have fun doing it, too!

How do I get started?

Next, be sure to click on BUY NOW and process your payment via PayPal. You may contact James here if you have any questions before purchasing.

Then, you will be contacted via email with a confirmation of the date and time that works for both you and James. You will also be given James personal Skype and iChat account names in the confirmation email.

Next, be sure to download & install Skype on your computer and set-up your Skype account (if you don’t already have one) OR if you are on a Mac and prefer iChat, that will work fine, too. Skype and iChat are both free – you don’t need to pay anything extra to use the software. Send James your Skype or iChat name BEFORE class starts so he can add you to his contact list.

Finally, show up for your first class and enjoy the ease of learning to play guitar from your home or office anywhere in the world with a master guitarist. After your first class, James will schedule your next class with you and you will be able to email James with any follow-up questions. During your lesson, James will give you plenty of lessons to practice during the week before your next lesson.

What if I need to reschedule?

We understand that sometimes things come up that may interfere with your scheduled guitar lesson. Please remember that James has reserved this time especially for you. Please notify him as soon as you learn about a conflict – at least 24 hours in advance.

What if I change my mind?

Why would you do that?! Seriously, if you decide to cancel your lesson, James requires at least 48 hours advance notice for a refund. Refunds for cancellations received within 48 hours will be at the discretion of James. James wants to make this online learning experience a productive time for you, so please contact him with any questions or concerns before canceling a reserved class.
